چکیده

The application of exogenously applied salicylic acid plays important roles in improving the growth, yield, and bioactive compound compositions different plant species. Curcuma longa is a medicinal that commonly used as spice food additive, has antioxidant potential. In this study, an innovative strategy for enhancing active production was investigated by applying natural growth enhancer—namely, (SA)—to C. plants. experiment conducted using complete randomized block design. effects SA on chemical contents were recorded. Our findings demonstrated significantly improved curcuminoid content when compared to control treatment, with at 10?3 M having greatest effect. study also indicated increase accompanied overexpression curcumin synthase 1 (CURS1), 2 (CURS2), 3 (CURS3) genes, well diketide-CoA (DCS) gene, which have been implicated synthesis curcuminoids.
